FORT NOVOSEL, Ala. - Fort Novosel boasts a bowling alley and bar, swimming pools, football and baseball fields, and a disc golf course.“This course really is great because it has a mix of open holes, five holes that are all over 400, and then as you turn around for the back 12, they’re all wooded or over the water, so you get a very big variety,” Cirincione said.
One of the main recreation features on Fort Novosel is the Silver Wings Golf Club. It’s a 27-hole course that features two putting greens, a chipping green, and a 300-yard driving range. Inside the clubhouse, you’ll find a pro shop and Divots Restaurant and Grille. The restaurant serves people both on and off the base. The club offers annual and monthly passes.
