We’re halfway through April already, and after a busy Easter holidays, many parents will be counting down until next pay day. But many people on 12 different benefits – including Child Benefit and Universal Credit –may receive next month’s cash sooner than usual.Here’s what you need to know:
Who is affected by the date change? Your payment will be issued early if your usual payment date falls on a weekend or one of the two May bank holidays. When will I receive my benefit? If you are expecting to receive your benefit on the following days, this is when you’ll be paid instead:
