Expect marching bands, stilt walkers, giant flamingos, DJs and live music
Liverpool's Celebrating Castle Street and Celebrating Bold Street return this week and next to showcase the best of the areas. The annual events see both streets come alive with plenty of food and drink offers, live music and entertainment for all ages to enjoy. Celebrating Castle Street kicks off this weekend, Sunday, August 4, while Celebrating Bold Street is on Sunday, August 11. Both events take place from 11am until 5pm with roads closed on either end.
Castle Street's activities will extend to Exchange Flags where a food and drink hub will be set up with a live chef demonstration stage. On the day offers on Castle Street will include: Next weekend on Bold Street , there will be storytelling sessions and outdoor art classes from Parentfolk at Tesco from 11am. On the corner of FACT, there will be ukelele, yoga and sound bath workshops.
