Full list of the strikes taking place in March including rail staff, ambulance workers and teachers
NHS staff and rail workers are among those striking in March, as ongoing disputes over pay and working conditions escalate amid the cost of living crisis.
Rail workers have been striking since last summer and members of the RMT union will walk out again for three days this month, affecting 14 train operators throughout the country. Nurses were also due to strike this month, but have agreed to pause industrial action amid “intensive talks” with the Government with a view to finding a settlement in the bitter dispute over pay.
The Royal College of Nursing and the Government issued a joint statement saying that the talks would focus on “pay, terms and conditions, and productivity enhancing reforms”.
