How the Liverpool squad is looking ahead of Sunday's huge Premier League encounter with title rivals Manchester City at Anfield
Jurgen Klopp will be without several key players for Liverpool's massive match against Manchester City.
The Reds' next two games are against Sparta Prague in the Europa League and Manchester United in the FA Cup. So Klopp and Co will be determined to go into the break with three points at Anfield, which would take them back to the top of the league and provide a huge dent in City's chances of winning the title for a fourth year in succession.
There are also concerns about Ibrahima Konate's fitness going into the game after he was withdrawn in the second half against Sparta Prague. Klopp confirmed after that match and on Friday that Konate was "positive" about the potential injury, but did not say whether or not the defender would be available to face City.
"That doesn't mean a lot, unfortunately. He will get scanned definitely and so far I don't have the result of that yet."
