'They face a worrying future whilst Micéal battles against illness'
The friends of a well-known Co Armagh man have started a major fundraiser to help his family out after he took ill while abroad.
The 60-year-old, who is a husband, father, and grandfather, has spent years involved in his local community through sport and charity organisations.A Go Fund Me page has now been set up by the community association to help Micéal and his family with ongoing bills and expenses. His wife, who is self-employed, is now out of work for the foreseeable future.
"Family is very important to Micéal. He worked in construction all his life and is Glasgow Celtic's biggest fan. He is a popular figure and has always been involved in the community. He has a huge personality and is held in high regard by everyone who knows him.
