John McKeown reckons his side should have got at least a point from Pollok
Furious Shotts boss John McKeown has blasted match officials for decisions he feels cost them a point against Pollok on Saturday.
“I wouldn’t say we deserved to win the game, but I thought the least we deserved was a point, because I think the conditions ruined the game. “The second yellow, the ball goes over Taylor’s head, he turns to clear it, and the boy’s head is down, so it’s a high boot and he’s booked for a reckless challenge.
“A point apiece probably would have been fair, but at the end of the day they’ve had a chance and taken it, and any chance that came our way we’ve missed it, and the officials haven’t helped us.“It’s frustrating to say the least, with injuries and decisions, but at the end of the day it’s up to us to make sure that the referees can’t influence a game.
