'As a business, we don’t set out to win awards, but I am proud that the hard work and dedication of our people have been externally recognised'
A furniture manufacturer went head to head with some of the best businesses in Lancashire and won two awards.
Robert Mustoe, managing director of The Senator Group said: “As a business, we don’t set out to win awards, but I am proud that the hard work and dedication of our people have been externally recognised in this way. At The Senator Group, we have fostered a culture of ambition, but also care, and these accolades are testament to that.
The company’s story began in 1976 when its chairman, Colin Mustoe, began designing and manufacturing office furniture. All these years on and although it has grown into one of the largest commercial furniture manufacturers in the world, it remains an independent, family-owned business.
