George Green's School (GGS), a secondary in East London , wants pupils as young as 11 to go without food for more than seven hours this Friday.
A school has been accused of making Jewish families feel unwelcome by asking pupils to fast in aid of Gaza.
One Jewish parent, who asked to be anonymous, told the Jewish Chronicle the event was 'stigmatising' for their child. George Green's School , a secondary in East London, wants pupils as young as 11 to go without food for more than seven hours this Friday The request for pupils aged 11 to 19 to fast between 8:30am and 4pm came in a letter to parents this week.
