Arsenal stunned Manchester City with a 2-1 victory at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, thanks to Gabriel Magalhaes' second-half header. Despite Erling Haaland's early opener for City, Arsenal displayed their attacking prowess by equalizing through Riccardo Calafiori and then securing the lead through Gabriel's powerful header.
Erling Haaland opened the scoring for City in the first ten minutes but the Gunners, unlike last season, showed their attacking quality to turn the game around.
The Brazilian's header came moments after he came close to scoring from a corner. After scoring the winner in last week's North London derby against Tottenham, Gabriel evaded Jeremy Doku to head just wide from a Bukayo Saka set-piece. The Sky Sports cameras showed Walker in the aftermath of the goal with the England international owning up to the goal after losing the defender. "It’s my fault, it’s my fault," he was spotted saying.
