A fallen giant of Brazilian football, Corinthians have been forced to look inward for inspiration as they look to arrest an alarming slide towards the lower echelons of the Brasileirao league table. In doing so, they've unearthed a gem: Gabriel Moscardo. The defensive midfielder has enjoyed a meteoric rise with his hometown club, going from signing with the academy to the first team in the space of just five years. Now a regular fixture in the Timao's line-up at 18, the impressive youngster forms part of analongside the likes of future Real Madrid star Endrick, Chelsea's Andrey Santos and soon-to-be Barcelona hitman Vitor Roque.
