The mulled wine and steins of beer were flowing
opened once again last weekend, people have been flocking to the stalls to grab their festive gifts or enjoy a bite to eat in the many food stalls which make up the market.
However, it's the bar tent and beer hall which remain most popular with visitors as they flock in their droves to enjoy some mulled wine or a stein of premium German beer. You would be mistaken for thinking this would be confined to the weekend and so, our photographer Justin Kernoghan went along on Wednesday night to soak up the atmosphere and capture some photos of those out enjoying the mid-week festivities.The family, who had been renting for 14 years picked up the keys to their new home on Thursday only for it to be set alight hours laterStorm Bert brought extreme flooding and power cuts across the region last night.
