For The Throne will feature a host of brand new songs inspired by the hit HBO series, and it’s the first time the TV network has partnered with major record labels Columbia and RCA Records. Also featuring on the soundtrack are Chloe X Halle, Mumford & Sons, Matthew Bellamy, Sza, The Lumineers, The Weeknd and Ty Dolla $ign, plus many more.
Fans who pre-order will have the option to choose from 11 different vinyl configurations – nine covers representing each house crest, one colour variant with fire and ice coloured vinyl, and one standard.Interestingly, Ed Sheeran is missing from the tracklist which may come as a surprise as he made a cameo in season seven, singing a little tune.The Game Of Thrones season eight premiere episode is just days away with its air date set for Sunday in the US and Monday in the UK.
