A 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man were stabbed in the city centre
Two teenagers were stabbed in what is believed to be a targeted attack by a group of up to six people. Emergency services were called to Queen Square in Liverpool city centre at around 9.20pm on Monday, December 9. It followed a report two teenagers had been stabbed inside the Q-Park . A 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital having suffered injuries to his shoulder and arm. He remains in hospital in a stable condition. An 18-year-old man suffered a slight injury and has been discharged.
'At this stage, we are keeping an open mind as to the motive and would urge anyone with information to come forward. Queen Square is a busy location and I'd ask that anyone who was in vicinity of the Q-Park or passing by in a vehicle checks any dashcam, CCTV or other devices in case they hold valuable evidence.
