The 56 year old victim was walking through Govanhill Park on Friday, March 10, when he was set upon by the youths.
A man was rushed to hospital after he was attacked by a gang of youths while walking through a park in Glasgow.
The victim, aged 56, was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains but no more information is availible on his condition at this stage. Detective Constable Glenn Clark, from Cathcart CID, said: “This was a shockingly violent and unprovoked attack and we are carrying out extensive enquiries to identify and trace the youths responsible.
