GANGS are forcing children to carry knives to school so they're expelled and easier to recruit as criminals, Ofsted warned yesterday.
The chilling warning comes in a report published on Tuesday focusing on London - which has been ravaged by knife crime in recent weeks.It highlighted the possibility of some pupils being "coached by dangerous adults to get themselves excluded". "Once excluded, children may have fewer protective factors, including access to trusted adults such as their teachers, depending on what happens to them as a result.
"This was particularly a concern for colleges, which felt that it would make them look less safe than competing schools in their area," the report added.
