The drama was first broadcast on Ireland’s public service broadcaster, RTÉ One, between 2010 and 2014, with some episodes also being aired on Channel 5. However, the recent interest comes after the five series arrived on ITVX earlier this year.
The series introduces viewers to criminal kingpin John Boy , and gang members Darren , Nidge , Robbie and Tommy , and the narrative focuses on the rivalries in the criminal field and the psychological effects of violence.
