Gap Inc.'s Richard Dickson will receive the Elizabeth Taylor Commitment to End AIDS Award at the fifth annual Elizabeth Taylor Ball to End AIDS on Sept. 26.
It’s an evening presented by the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation and supported by presenting sponsor Gilead Sciences.
Dickson has long supported people affected by HIV and AIDS, especially through his work with the Children Affected by AIDS Foundation. He formerly served on the board of directors for the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, and currently serves on the board of advisers for the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
Elizabeth Taylor established her foundation in 1991 to carry out her vision for an AIDS-free world.
