A gardener has shared a 'super easy' way to get rid of slugs in your garden - and people are left in hysterics over the number of slugs they've managed to catch
Urban gardener Kia Jade has shared a tried and tested method to rid your garden of plant-destroying slugs, in a video on TikTok. She recommends using cheap beer and shallow containers placed half into the soil, where the creatures are usually found.
Her slug-catching tactic involves filling the containers with beer overnight and checking the following morning for any captives. In one instance, up to five were gathered. Offering another anti-slug tip, a social media user suggested coffee grounds could deter them - just spread them over your soil, reports the Express.
