Rory McIlroy was joined by former football stars Gareth Bale and Jermaine Jenas for Wednesday's BMW PGA Celebity Pro-Am
Gareth Bale admits there were a few nerves as he teed up with World number two golfer Rory McIlroy on Wednesday morning.
Former Wales and Real Madrid star Bale plays off a handicap of 0.5, while Jenas played off a handicap of 3 for the Pro-Am.Bale told Sky Sports: "It was very nerve-racking standing on the first tee. You kind of want to impress him a little bit."I just said to JJ get the ball in the air and just look for it. Hopefully it lands on the fairway."His grouping appeared a formidable one, and the early signs looked promising as Bale revealed the trio were sitting at 10-under-par.
