Greenwood has been getting his career back on track in Spain Gareth Southgate will not consider Mason Greenwood for his England squad heading to Euro 2024 but has not ruled out a return beyond this summer’s competition. Greenwood left Manchester United to join Getafe on a season-long loan after his parent club made a late decision against reintegrating him back into the first-team squad.
’ Greenwood has made one senior appearance for England in September 2020, coming off the bench in a 1-0 victory over Iceland. In the days that followed, he and Manchester City star Phil Foden were withdrawn from the squad for breaking Covid quarantine guidelines after leaving the team hotel without permission.
