No disrespect to Forest, but both West Ham and Newcastle had been interested in signing the former Man Utd midfielder, yet clearly it ended up just being about money for Jesse Lingard. After watching him on Saturday, I don’t think many Newcastle fans will be bothered in the slightest that we ‘missed out’ on him.
