Garth Pearce, a renowned showbiz journalist known for his captivating storytelling and interviews with Hollywood's elite, passed away at the age of 73. He began his career at a local paper before making his mark in Fleet Street, eventually becoming the go-to reporter for A-list celebrities. Pearce's articles, syndicated internationally, featured groundbreaking interviews with stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lopez, and many more. Garth was invited on to more than 500 film sets to meet the stars of some of the world’s biggest blockbusters.

He died three weeks later at home in Berkshire with his wife of 52 years Davina, 76, and their daughters Dulcie, 43, and Gemma, 47, by his side on February 5th.Gardener’s son Garth Frederick Pearce joined his local paper, the Walsall Observer, at 19, and by the age of 25 was working in Fleet Street.
