🔴 Gary Lineker is not expected to face disciplinary action from the BBC over his tweets comparing the government’s asylum policy to Nazi Germany
understands that there is no suggestion the BBC presenter will be pulled from this weekend’s Match of the Day and is unlikely to face any other sanction.
Lineker tweeted on Tuesday that the policy to stop asylum seekers arriving on small boats into the UK was set out in “language that is not dissimilar to that used by Germany in the 30s”.
