Gary Lucy has given The Bill fans false hope of a comeback for the classic police show after posting a teaser video to social media - but it turned out to be a recruitment ad for Western Australia Police Force.
In a video that looked very much like a teaser for a new series of former ITV cop show The Bill, Gary was dressed as his former character Will and going about his duties in grey and unfriendly UK streets. The actor had actually teamed up with Western Australia Police Force for their latest recruitment drive in the UK, which previously hit headlines last year for its campaign to poach UK police with the promise of better weather and better pay.
Someone else wrote: "Can't wait to watch it," as another person added: "Oooh can't wait for this," and a third fan agreed: "I'll enjoy watching."
