Gary Neville isn't a popular man among Liverpool supporters. A Manchester United legend, the former full-back has gone on to become one of the most high profile pundits in the country, but his commentary isn't always received well on Merseyside. And that was the case on Sunday when, on Sky Sports commentary for the 2-2 draw between Arsenal and Liverpool, Neville didn't appear to be best pleased that Arne Slot's side came back into the game to snatch a point.
I wouldn't like to be a full-back out there. 'It reminded me of playing in these games when it's almost, you can't go through it without making mistakes. You need support because the players are so good.' He added: 'I think Arsenal can be really happy. During the week I didn't like the narrative of they have all these players missing. I was hoping that wouldn't influence the players in the dressing room or coaching staff. But they were really quite resolute.
