Wolves’ ongoing issues behind the scenes have put top managers off taking over from Gary O’Neil should the club opt to dismiss him.
Despite a 2-1 defeat to West Ham on 9 December, in a game which had been billed as his final chance, O’Neil is set to remain in the job for the clash with Ipswich on 14 December. However, Brown has insisted that O’Neil has remained in the job as a result of the lack of interest in his position given the financial issues they have faced.
