Having impressed during an initial loan, Cunha joined Wolves on a permanent basis in the summer of 2023 and has gone from strength to strength since then.
Gary O’Neil has no concerns about losing Cunha in the January transfer window ‘Contract wise, I’ll leave that to the club. We have a real focus, Matheus included, on tomorrow’s game and making sure we’re in the best shape to beat Bournemouth.’ Asked about Cunha’s marked improvement since his arrrival, O’Neil added: ‘He’s worked very hard and he’s a really humble guy.
