The revelation that Smithy and Nessa, despite their years of on-again, off-again romance and intimate escapades, have never shared a kiss, shocked viewers of the beloved Christmas special.
Nessa and Smithy may have been on and off for years but they’ve never kissed. On Christmas Day, viewers discovered the pair finally tied the knot after Smithy jilted the unlikeable Sonia at the altar. But despite the couple’s wild escapades over the years, Smithy rejected the offer to ‘kiss the bride’ as they’ve never ever locked lips. The revelation baffled viewers on Reddit and caused them to comb through previous episodes to see if it was accurate.
And it turns out Smithy and Nessa have never kissed as Nessa only likes action ‘from the waist down’. Purplemoonlightxo explained: ‘It’s true they never kissed, if you listen as well Smithy says “even when we’re doing it we’ve never kissed” we’ve never seen them kiss in the series either.’ Nessa and Smithy refused to kiss each other after getting married.
