Gavin and Stacey’s Nessa appeared to be 'in tears' as actress Ruth Jones and her fellow co-stars were spotted filming for the highly-anticipated Christmas special. The sighting comes just months after it was revealed that the popular BBC show will be making a return to our screens for the last ever episode.
In the 2019 Christmas special, things between Nessa and Smithy took another turn when Nessa admitted her true feelings for Smithy and even got down on one knee to pop the question. However fans were left on the edge of their seats when the credits began rolling before Smithy’s response was aired. At one point during filming, it began to rain heavily and the group were seen continuing the scene from under a screen. For the occasion, Ruth could be seen in a burgundy leather jacket which she wore over the top of a black top with fishnet detailing.
