The appearance comes ahead of the highly anticipated return of the show this Christmas.
A surprise cameo is in the works for the Strictly Come Dancing final, with a Gavin and Stacey character expected to make an 'in character' appearance. Finalists JB Gill, Sarah Hadland, Tasha Ghouri, and Chris McCausland will dance it out this Saturday, hoping to win the competition.
The source added, "The BBC have worked really hard to get these off the ground and it's a great cross-promotion for what will be their two biggest shows at Christmas. Strictly fans loved seeing Wallace and Gromit and the BBC think they'll be thrilled when Nessa pops up on Saturday night." Ruth Jones has teased that this Christmas could see a shocking twist in the beloved series. Both Ruth and her fellow co-creator James Corden joined Zoe Ball on her BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show this Tuesday, sharing that they were about to complete filming on the BBC's hit sitcom.
However, Ruth, aged 58, dropped a bombshell hint that there might be more heartache in store than just the show's conclusion. "It's strange, James and I have always felt, they really do exist," she commented on the characters' enduring presence.
