Elon Musk and California Governor Gavin Newsom are locked in a war of words on X after the businessman announced he would be moving his companies' headquarters to Texas from the Golden State.On Tuesday after Musk's announcement, Newsom accused Musk of bending the knee to former President Donald Trump, apparently in reference to the Tesla CEO's recent decision to donate to a pro-Trump super PAC. Several hours later, Musk fired back: 'You never get off your knees.
'I did make it clear to Governor Newsom about a year ago that laws of this nature would force families and companies to leave California to protect their children,' he wrote.Former decathlete Caitlyn Jenner, a transgender woman who last year launched a political action committee designed to strengthen parental rights in the classroom and in youth sports, called Musk's decision a 'strong move' in a post on X.
