GB News has confirmed that Mark Dolan has been sacked from the channel with immediate effect but the comedian has vowed that he will speak out about his exit in due course.
GB News' Mark Dolan, 50, has shared the unexpected news that he's been axed from the network. The ex-Channel 4 personality divulged the update on X, formerly known as Twitter , through two enigmatic messages.
Previously, Mark drew ire on GB News during his attempt to offer a Match Of The Day substitute when Gary Lineker was sidelined from the BBC. Last March, alongside Patrick Christys, who recapped Bournemouth's surprise 1-0 victory over Liverpool, Dolan attempted some sports broadcasting. The remark failed to win over the audience. One viewer posted a gif with the caption: "Dies from cringe."More comments piled on: "Are you seriously pretending to be sports presenters now? " and "The absolute state of this, screams of people who call the game 'footie.'" Someone else addressed the channel directly: "This is absolutely atrocious. How embarrassing.
