Gemma Atkinson has hit back after she was accused of pinching her little boy "to teach him a lesson". The actress and radio presenter, 39, who is set to marry Strictly Come Dancing's Gorka Marquez , opened up on social media about the contrasting behaviours of their two tots, Thiago, one and Mia, four. On her Instagram Story, Gemma gave fans an insight into parenting life, noting how Thiago even hurt his sister during a tantrum.
But Gemma had to hit back after she was criticised following her revelation, with some parenting gurus condemning her actions. Addressing the backlash on her Instagram Story on Tuesday evening, she recounted being interrupted during her Hits Radio drivetime show by a message from her agent, reports the Mirror.
The mum-of-two quickly debunked the claims, clarifying to her followers that she wasn't the host of Mum's The Word, and hadn't worked on CBeebies for some time since The Toddler Club wasn't renewed. Gemma also pointed out that the post about her pinching her son hadn't been deleted, but was part of her Instagram Story, which "deletes itself after 24 hours".
