to reprise her role to help out Marlon Dingle, but unfortunately this won't be happening any time soon.
Explaining how a return just wouldn't be practical, the blonde beauty shared: "I love Emmerdale. It’s a great show. But going back would mean doing a commute to Leeds, doing 12 hours of filming and then going back again.
Gemma was a regular in the village for over two years and involved in several of Emmerdale's biggest storylines. Considering a comeback, the actress did say that she could do a "couple" of new episodes for the soap, but ruled out going back "long-term"., who she met while taking part in the 2017 series of the show.
The pair announced that they were expecting their first child in February of this year, welcoming baby Mia on 4 July.
