Gemma Atkinson has revealed how she almost died whilst giving birth to her son after she lost pints of blood.
The traumatic situation happened four years ago when the star was forced to have an emergency Cesarean when her daughter Mia's heart rate dropped suddenly. "It could have gone very differently. Immediately afterwards you think to yourself, 'Gosh, would I go through that again?' Then you look at your child and think, 'I'd do it all again tomorrow.' That's the nature of motherhood."Titled 'Gemma And Gorka: Life Behind The Lens' the series aims to raise awareness of the difficulties pregnancy and giving birth can bring.
She welcomed newborn Thiago last month, telling fans: "Little man is here. He arrived safe and sound and he’s utterly wonderful. Mia is already the mother hen we expected her to be.
