Gen Z don’t know who this rock legend is It has been discovered that Generation Z is completely unaware of an iconic rock legend – and has been mistaking him for a breed of Spaniels.
Jarvis Cocker – not to be confused with a Cocker Spaniel – has been completely overlooked by a generation in the UK. The Britpop singer came to fame in the 90s in the band Pulp, best known for their hit Common People in 1995. While his name might be very well known with the older generations, youngsters in Gen Z born between 1997 and 2012 were unfamiliar with his work, to say the least.
Oasis broke up in 2009 after forming in 1991 14% of people believed thought the band Happy Mondays was a wellness app, with 6% believing it was a Viagra pill 15% of people believed that Cool Brittania was a royal yacht. 10% believed it was the name of the national anthem, but 10% also thought it was an air conditioning company.
