For the first time, the under-40s will make up the majority of voters at the NSW election on Saturday. And they have clear messages about the issues they care about most.

It's no surprise affordable housing is at the top of Mr Gow's list of election issues ahead of Saturday's vote.in the state.Emmilee Taylor, a 21-year-old from Kyogle, says the most important issue for her going into the state election was also affordable housing. Environmental issues have also been high on the list of concerns for many first-time voters, like 20-year-old Chloe Simpson from Casino in the Northern Rivers region.

Ms Simpsons is most likely to vote for the Greens on election day but others her age are still undecided.
