PAGASA Weather Specialist Benison Estareja, in a public weather forecast, disclosed that most parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, will continue to experience warm and humid weather. Easterlies, however, may bring scattered rain showers in Bicol Region and Quezon Province. Although fair weather was seen to prevail in Luzon and Visayas, Estareja reiterated that isolated rain showers may still occur due to localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, intertropical convergence zone – an area where winds from the northeast and southeast hemispheres converge – is still affecting Mindanao. “Sa southern portion ng Mindanao may mga pag-ulan pa rin [dulot] ng ITCZ, particularly in Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi at southern part ng SOCCSKSARGEN at Davao Occidental ,” said Estareja.No tropical cyclone is seen to develop or enter the Philippine boundary within the forecast period, but according to Estareja two weather disturbances may still form and enter the Philippine area of responsibility in the second half of November.
