After a few months reportedly spent “in hiding” following a controversy over her friendship with the new Danish king, the socialite and TV star is back to public life and will soon appear on a game show.
“I want to thank all the people who have cared about me this past year, those who have understood my absence and my silence, and those who have sent me messages of love and support,” she wrote, per a translation, alongside a photo featuring her embracing her white dog, Taj. “It’s been a few months where I needed peace and quiet, but I’m already doing my best to slowly be able to return to my normal life and meet my work commitments.
Hola! later reported that Frederik and Casanova only spent the day alone because another friend had to cancel on their plans, which also included a visit to a Picasso exhibit at the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum, due to an apparent case of COVID-19. Still, the photos sparked an internet frenzy, and Casanova released a statement denying any suggestion of a “romantic relationship” with Frederik.
