When is the Genshin Impact third anniversary?While this date hasn’t been confirmed for the third-anniversary celebrations, Genshin Impact was initially released on September 28, 2020. Since the release, both of the previous anniversary events have occurred on September 28 in 2021 and 2022. Due to this, it is a safe assumption that Genshin Impact’s third-anniversary celebration will take place on the same day.
September 28 is also the speculative release date for the next update, patch 4.1 in Genshin Impact. Having the new patch coincide with the release of the next update makes a lot of sense when you look at the current banner schedule in Genshin Impact 4.0.Hoyoverse hasn’t shored up any information about what we will get to do during the third-anniversary celebration event, but we can look at the previous anniversaries to get an idea of the goodies and rewards we can expect to see.
Typically, there is a log-in bonus that gives you 10 Intertwined Fates for logging in for seven days consecutively. There could also be a chance we will get another 10 Intertwined Fates through the in-game mail system, which has happened before in Genshin Impact. Other than this, the anniversary celebrations in the past feature an event that will give us plenty of Primogems, Mora, and other helpful items.
Outside of these two things, we can also expect to see Genshin Impact’s in-game store reset the Genesis Crystal bonuses you get for buying Genesis Crystal packs for the first time. There is always a ton of speculation and hype around the Genshin Impact anniversaries, to the extent that many people are left feeling underwhelmed by what we get.
