George, Charlotte and Louis' Coronation procession places confirmed with hours to go
Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are set to join the historic grand carriage procession after King Charles’ Coronation.
The 1.3 mile route will see the carriages travel through Parliament Square, along Whitehall, around Trafalgar Square, through Admiralty Arch and down The Mall, arriving back at the palace at 1.33pm. Anne, Princess Royal will ride on horseback behind Charles and Camilla as Gold Stick in Waiting and Colonel of the Blues and Royals, to the rear of the Gold State Coach.
The next carriage will contain the King’s youngest brother the Duke of Edinburgh with his wife the Duchess of Edinburgh and their children Lady Louise Windsor and the Earl of Wessex. There is no place in the procession for Prince Harry or Prince Andrew, who play no formal part in the coronation ceremony amid the continuing fallout from the Duke of Sussex’s book Spare and with the Duke of York banned from royal duties over his connections to Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew’s daughters, princesses Beatrice or Eugenie, also have no formal role in proceedings.
