All three of Prince William’s children are expected to take part in the King’s Coronation on 6 May, according to reports
also reported that Harry and Meghan’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, have not yet been invited to the coronation, which clashes with Archie’s fourth birthday. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are yet to say whether they will attend the event, are not included in plans for the procession – neither is Prince Andrew.
The procession is expected to be confined to working members of the royal family, including the King’s youngest brother Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, who are the new, as well as the monarch’s sister Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, and her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence. Cousins of the King including the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra, will also take part.
In the ceremony, The King will be crowned alongside the Queen Consort, and will be anointed with holy oil, receive the orb, coronation ring and sceptre, and be crowned with St Edward’s Crown.
