Georgia Harrison gave an emotional statement outside court
Georgia Harrison said she “stands in solidarity” with other victims of revenge porn after her ex Stephen Bear was jailed for sharing a sex video of her online.
“I hope that this puts anyone off committing this sort of crime and I hope for anyone else who has been victim of it [that] it gives them some sort of justice.” Jacqueline Carey KC, prosecuting, told an earlier trial that the pair had consensual sex at his home in Loughton, Essex, but Georgia did not know they were being recorded.
Ms Carey said that Stephen uploaded the footage “either himself or had it uploaded to OnlyFans and profited financially”. He said: “You were trying to bully her into withdrawing her complaint and when that was exposed as a lie you sought to blame her, claiming she had shared it with others. You also attempted to lay blame at the door of the person you employed to upload video material to Only Fans.
