Back at home, however, life will continue for the Coopers.

Admittedly, the boy genius doesn’t have the closest relationship with his brother, but considering the tragic loss that they just experienced, Sheldon also needs support. Granted that being in a different environment and attending his dream school will likely help distract him from the sad reality, but at some point, he will have to come back home to Texas.
