Shropshire-based environmental consultancy, GeoSmart Information, has announced four promotions in response to increased demand for its flood risk services. Wajid Wastakaran, David South, Alex Farr, and Lily Jordan have all been promoted to reflect their valuable contributions and the company's growth plans.

Shropshire-based environmental consultancy , GeoSmart Information has announced four promotions.As part of the business’ continued team investment and wider growth plans, Wajid Wastakaran has been promoted to Principal Drainage Engineer, David South to Principal Consultant, Alex Farr to Project Consultant, and Lily Jordan to Marketing Manager.

A civil engineer with nine years’ experience, Wajid has been promoted following his work on drainage system designs for numerous projects since he joined the consultancy in 2022. Project Consultant Alex has moved up the ranks from Environmental Consultant in just over a year at GeoSmart, following his time at the University of Manchester where he gained a BSC in Geology and an MSC in Pollution and Environmental Control.
