Germany and US to send Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine in potential gamechanger as war drags on

Washington had suggested it would be more productive to send German Leopards since many allies have them and Ukrainian troops would need less training than on the more difficult Abrams. The Biden administration is now expected to announce a decision to send tanks as soon as Wednesday, though it could take months or years for the tanks to be delivered.
