Germany have won only one of their last six matches played on home soil against Hungary , a 2-0 friendly victory in June 2016. Hungary are without a win in their last seven games at the European Championships since beating Austria 2-0 in the 2016 group stage. They could lose two matches at a single edition of the tournament for just a second time, after 1972.
Hungary have kept just one clean sheet in their 12 games at the European Championships, doing so in a 2-0 win over Austria in 2016. They have conceded the opening goal in seven of those 12 matches, losing six of those seven occasions .
