Kickstart your career in design with our new remote learning course, created by Wallpaper* editors in collaboration with parsonsdesign

A number of notable Parsons tutors will be sharing their wisdom, among them industrial designer Yvette Chaparro and sustainable design expert Barent Roth. Essentials course offers an introduction to industrial design and product development while exploring career opportunities tied to these disciplines.

The programme has been designed to strip away the mystery of the creative industries, showing aspiring designers everything that goes into the things they love; and in the process, unveiling to them what their potential might be.Focusing on the integration of the design, manufacturing, and marketing components of the product creation process,Essentials combines interactive learning tools and real-world activities to create a broad and engaging learning experience.
