BREAKING: Gethin Jones drops out of Celebrity MasterChef after falling ill with coronavirus symptoms
GETHIN Jones has dropped out of the Celebrity MasterChef final after suddenly falling ill with coronavirus symptoms.
The Welsh TV presenter, 42, admitted he was "gutted" to pull out of the show but would "never put anyone at risk".He was due to compete alongside Judi Love, Sam Quek, Phil Daniels, Amar Latif, Sir Matthew Pinsent and Riyadh Khalaf in tonight's semi-final for a place in the final three. But the show's hosts John Torode and Gregg Wallace revealed that he was too unwell to carry on in the competition."Thank you for all your lovely messages re @MasterChefUK," he told fans.Credit: BBC"Absolutely GUTTED... but it was the easiest decision.Viewers rushed to Twitter to share their concern for Gethin.
